Join us November 9th, Veteran’s Day Weekend, from 5 pm – 10 pm for the first-ever Battle of the Bands to benefit The ALS Association Florida chapter at the LauderdAle Brewery.
Event Details
Come listen to good local music, grab a bite to eat, drink some authentic ales and help raise awareness and funds for a cure for ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis).
ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) progressively paralyzes its victims, attacking nerve cells and pathways in the brain or spinal cord. People with ALS are robbed of the ability to walk, eat, spea, and eventually breathe. Military veterans, regardless of branch of service, era in which they served, or peace or wartime service, are twice as likely to be diagnosed with ALS. Currently, the connection is unknown. It is always fatal, and life expectancy is only 2-5 years after diagnosis.
Help us battle this terrible disease by supporting your favorite band at your favorite brewery! This promises to be a wonderful FUNdraising event!
Raffle tickets, voting ticket for your favorite band, and special offer off of up to 5 beers/non-alcoholic drinks available at the door.
