Dr. Laura Gasparis Vonfrolio, RN, PhD
The Speaker
Dr. Vonfrolio RN has held CCRN & CEN Certifications for 13 years and has been a critical care nurse for over 35 years in positions of staff nurse, staff development instructor, and tenured professor of nursing. She obtained an Associate and Bachelors degree in Nursing, MA from NYU in Nursing and a PhD in Nursing Education.
She organized the “Nurses March on Washington DC” with over 35,000 nurses protesting which has been the catalyst for nurse legislation for safe patient ratios. She is the former President of The National Nurses in Business Association and the current President of Education Enterprises.
Dr. Vonfrolio has authored numerous articles on critical care and 11 books, such as Critical Care Examination Review Book 4th edition. You will laugh as you learn!
