CareerSource Broward’s 10th annual Paychecks for Patriots Job Fair FREE hiring event will connect veterans, military families and job seekers with over 75 prominent local employers recruiting for job opportunities in South Florida.

CareerSource Broward and the Broward Workforce Development Board, Inc. will host the rescheduled 10th annual Paychecks for Patriots Job Fair on Tuesday, November 29, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., at Plantation Central Park Community Center (9151 NW 2nd St. in Plantation). This FREE hiring event, hosted in partnership with the City of Plantation, United Way of Broward County's MISSION UNITED, the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO), and Employer Support of The Guard and Reserve, will connect veterans, military families and job seekers with over 75 prominent local employers recruiting for job opportunities in South Florida.
Attendees will have the opportunity to speak directly with recruiters and apply for jobs on the spot. There will also be an on-site Résumé Café to provide attendees with résumé reviews, administrative assistance and update/printing services.
Employers scheduled to participate in the hiring event include Advanced Roofing, Allied Universal, Amazon, Aramark Uniform Services, Broward County Government, Broward College, Broward Health, Coca-Cola, Dayton-Granger, Inc., Fed-Ex, FIU, Humana, Mastec, Memorial Healthcare System, Miami Heat, Nova Southeastern University, Papa John’s, Primerica, the Riverside Hotel, Seminole Casino Coconut Creek, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, UPS, VITAS Health Care and many more. To better support their employment needs, CareerSource Broward annually offers this initiative to unite military, veterans and workforce leaders in connecting businesses in need of high-quality talent with these dedicated, well-trained men and women. By working with employers to match them with veterans possessing the skills they need, our local community retains a critical, high-quality talent pool and the heroes who have served us so nobly can put their talents to work for Broward County’s businesses and their families.
The event's first hour will be dedicated only to veterans, military spouses and eligible caregivers and will be open to the general public afterward. There is NO COST for job seekers to attend this hiring event, but pre-registration is advised to avoid long lines.
