The company operates a total of 24 lines by either ferry or fast ferry depending on the distance and the requirements of the crossing. The company, which was created in 1998, has a workforce of 1,000 people. In 2010 Baleària handled the transportation of more than 3 million passengers and 3 million linear meters of roll-on/roll-off cargo, generating revenue of 230 million euros with a fleet of 14 vessels.
