Broward College's Aviation Institute

Description

The Aviation Institute links Broward College's (BC) South Campus with North Perry Airport in Pembroke Pines. It's the only public facility in South Florida with direct access to an airport dedicated to the training of aviation professionals. Since 1966 our aviation school has been preparing students for careers leading to two-year degrees in: Professional Pilot, Aviation Maintenance, Aviation Operations, Airport Operations, and Air Traffic Control. Our institute offers on-site flight training, state-of-the-art air traffic control simulators and flight training devices, a 7,000 sq. ft. hangar, computer-based testing, and online courses to prepare students for aviation careers in the 21st century
