Don't worry if your 1 or 2 people, if you got a bit of flexibility on dates we can look for availability and get you out with a group of people to go fishing. It's called a shared charter with a minimum of 4 people to sail and 6 passenger maximum at all times
BOLO is a 48 foot sport fisher with an air-conditioned interior and a restroom below deck.
YES, BOLO has a bathroom below deck.
We have a 48 hour cancellation policy for a full refund. This allows us enough time to call our people on the waiting list to fill the spot.
We do not cancel for rain. We fish! Our FL rain showers can be over as soon as they start up and the customers can duck inside the cabin to stay dry while our team stays in the elements to keep fishing.
Unfortunately if the Captain is cancelling a trip it is either due to severe weather warnings or conditions that they deem unsafe: for the customers, team and our boat. This could happen the night before your trip or early AM while at the dock. In the event this happens on your trip under 48 hours, please don't get upset, we can't control Mother Nature. We try our best to reschedule you if there is availability or your trip is refunded back to you.
This would be unfortunate but does happen. The best thing to do is move to the side or back of the boat and let it all out! The WORST thing to do is go inside the cabin or below deck, it worsen the motion sickness when you do this! If you don't think you have your sea legs for the trip the captain suggests you take an over the counter non drowsy motion sickness tablet the night before your trip and then again in the AM/Afternoon before your trip. You can also ask your doctor for the new motions sickness patches.
YES, we have anglers of all ages that come to fish with us. Please keep in mind a guardian over the age of 18 is mandatory to be onboard for their fishing trip even if the adult is not fishing. We do not allow anyone under 18 with out a guardian onboard for their trip due to the intensity of our fishing style and safety reasons.
6 Maximum at all times. Apologies there are NO EXCEPTIONS! We are heavily regulated by the US Coast Guard for 6 passenger max.
All passengers pay. It doesn't matter if they are fishing or riding along as a spectator it is a paid seat on board due to our limited capacity.
NO, you do not need a fishing license while on board with BOLO.
NO. We are set up for a specific type sport fishing our fishing gear is not the average rods and reels. If the Captain switches to a different style of fishing they are set up to do so with the best maintained rods and reels for the task at hand.
All edible fish are filleted by our team at the end of the trip and divided equally among the passengers. The fish that are usually not edible, we keep them and use them for bait.
NO. All beverage of your choice, food and snacks must be brought with you for your trip. We do not sell drinks or food. We don have water onboard if you forget to bring yours.
Yes. We allow smoking of cigarettes and cigars while fishing, however we ask that you use digression and do not smoke in the face or other customers that do not partake. We also ask that you do not throw any cigarette or cigar butts over board. Please ask the team where and how to dispose of them safely. We are trying to protect the marine life in our waters.
