You're probably thinking the same thing we are. Where did the year go? Once you get over the fact that you have to say farewell to 2018, it'll be time for you to start making your plans for the new year. Like every year, there will be plenty to do. Parties at clubs. Parties at bars. Parties on a block. But if you're in the mood for something a bit more low key, classy, and some good eats, we've got just the thing. Presenting your best fine dining restaurants to celebrate New Year's Eve in Ft. Lauderdale!

As one of Ft. Lauderdale's favored seafood eateries, Burlock Coast is an easy fine dining choice on any night of the year. But they're even outdoing themselves on the last night of the year, ensuring that your year ends with a bang and a party in your mouth. It's a culinary journey like no other with two seatings. The first course begins promptly at 5:30 p.m., and includes a four-course dinner menu, champagne bottle menu and open bar. But the second menu is for the party people. The first course will be served at 9:30 p.m., the second seating includes a five-course menu and champagne bottle menu. And with your stomach full and buzz hitting as the new year approaches, you'll countdown to midnight as the restaurant drops their balloons. What a way to open 2019!
Shooter's is hosting a New Year's Eve party to blow away 2018. Doors open at 6 p.m. for a three-course Prix fixe menu, Shooter's provides your taste buds with a party of their own. You'll have the choice of three appetizers, two salads, and three entrees of grouper, roasted hen and steak and lobster. Save room for dessert with a duo of a chocolate torte and a mango cheesecake. Dinner comes with live entertainment in the form of Samba and fire dancers, a robot drummer and saxophone player, DJ, a champagne toast and party favors. The stunning waterfront view is the perfect vantage point for taking in the fireworks.
Tavolino Della Notte serves up old world food with new world flair but on December 31, its with a New Year's flair. Celebrate 2018 and welcome 2019 with R&B, Disco, Mowtown, and classic rock, preformed live by Krush Band featuring Betty Padgett. While you enjoy the music, you'll be treated to a four course meal and champagne upon arrival. There are two seatings, Early from 6-8:30 p.m. for $99 per person and Late from 9 p.m.-close for $149 per person. Reserve your table today.

A charming waterfront restaurant, Serafina has the views and food you are looking for on New Year's Eve. This location is the height of romance and culinary excellence. If you're looking for a bite and a place to have a New Years toast, this is a good place to be.

Another waterfront restaurant, Pelican Landing is a slick, sleek marina with a healthy assortment of sandwiches, snacks, and salads. While Pelican Landing isn't exactly fine dining, it certainly has an air of romance perfect for breaking into the New Year.
Blue Moon Fish Co. has been a Ft. Lauderdale culinary staple for decades. One of the reasons why is because of its ideal placement on the Intracoastal. That placement makes it fairly ideal for celebrations. Particularly celebrations with fireworks. And as usual, you can expect the same quality cuisine you've come to expect from this local hot spot.
This Las Olas hot spot has exploded in popularity in the past few years. And one of the reasons why is their annual New Year's Eve menu. While they change it up every year, the one constant is the delicious bites and consistent fun. There are few better places to be in Las Olas than here as you ring in the new year.

Chimney House is one of Ft. Lauderdale's most romantic spots no matter the time of the year. While not located on the marina, you do get a pretty good view of it (and the fireworks) if you can snag an outdoor porch area. At just a short walk away from Himmarshe's Annual New Year's block party, you can go from romance to turn up as soon as the clock strikes 12:01 am.

Ringing in the new year is always a special time. And it's made even more special when its spent with the one you love. If you want the perfect place to share your midnight kiss, you may want to consider your fine dining options for New Years Eve 2019.
