Join us for an evening of true stories about the heroes among us. The Fort Lauderdale Story Slam is a live storytelling competition in which people tell true stories about their own lives in 5-7 minutes.

Event Details

Slam performers include both newbies and seasoned storytellers telling stories on a theme, and you just never know what you’re going to hear. The stories can be funny, intense, moving, quirky, eye-opening, and even controversial, as the storytellers invite you to see the world through their eyes. The evening features eight storytellers, and includes fun, interactive storytelling games for the audience between the stories.

The February 2nd theme is: "Heroes"

Doors open at 6pm for a pre-show ART EXHIBIT and LIVE MUSIC by INEZ BARLATIER.
