Plunge Beach Resort is thrilled to present as part of our Kids Plunge into The Arts program, Bayview Elementary's Butterflies! Please join us for this special art exhibit and fundraising event on Thursday, February 2nd at 6:00 pm at Plunge Beach Resort.

About the Butterfly Project: The Butterfly Project is a nation-wide collaborative effort to teach our generation about the impact of the holocaust through the arts. With the goal of creating 1.5 million butterflies to represent the children who perished, the Butterfly Project will be both a visual memorial of our darkest time in history and a symbol of renewal. Bayview Elementary has joined the cause, and taking the theme of renewal literally, students have made each butterfly using only non-recyclable landfill-bound materials. As the quote taken from the Talmud illustrates, hope is not simply something we feel but something we must do.
All proceeds from the Silent Auction will be used to create a butterfly memorial at Bayview Elementary!
