Florida’s Oldest LGBTQ+ Band Readying to Bring Hollywood Glamour to the Stage
Event Details
The South Florida Pride Concert Band — Florida’s Oldest LGBTQ+ Band, kicks off its 2023-24 season with an exciting performance entitled And The Award Goes To, on Sunday, November 5 at 7 p.m. at the Amaturo Theater at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. The concert band will play a compilation of classic favorites by artists and composers who have won a coveted Emmy, Grammy, Oscar or Tony Award.
Readying for the upcoming awards season, guests are encouraged to dress in their finest red-carpet attire and prepare to meet internationally acclaimed impersonator Joe Posa as Joan Rivers.
In-person tickets are $35 may be purchased at browardcenter.org/events/detail/sfl-pride-concert-band-2023. For fans not able to attend in-person, a virtual live-stream will be offered by Stream Ally at southfloridapride.streamally.live/ minimum suggested donation is $25.
