Aquaplex Fort Lauderdale, the premier destination for drag dining and entertainment, is turning up the volume for a rock & roll-themed birthday brunch celebrating Velvet LeNore on Saturday, March 15, at 1:30 p.m. Hosted by the Queen of the Palm Beaches herself, this high-energy event will feature performances by the Aquanettes and a delicious all-inclusive brunch, all while raising funds for Kids in Distress (KID). During this special event, 15% of proceeds from food, beverage, and raffle sales will go directly toward supporting KID’s mission to prevent child abuse and provide critical services to children and families in need.

Guests can indulge in a $49.95 all-inclusive brunch package, which includes a choice of entrée, unlimited mimosas and Bloody Marys, while enjoying unforgettable performances from South Florida’s top drag entertainers. The electrifying show theme lends itself to great music from Pink, Melissa Etheridge, Cher and other favorite legends.

Velvet LeNore is a trailblazing performer and icon in the South Florida entertainment scene. A celebrated female impersonator, she has portrayed legendary artists like Donna Summer, Patti LaBelle, Janet Jackson, and Beyoncé. LeNore holds numerous prestigious titles, including Former Miss Florida F.I. at Large, Miss Kashmir, Miss Illusion, and Miss Palm Beach Pride. She was also the first transgender Grand Marshal of Palm Beach County and a recipient of the Marsha P. Johnson Award. In June 2022, she was featured on Good Morning America to kick off Pride Month. As host at Aquaplex Fort Lauderdale, LeNore continues to bring world-class entertainment to audiences every week, leading Saturday brunch and Wednesday Twisted Balls Bingo.
