Ann Storck Center – a Fort Lauderdale-based private nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching lives of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities – is excited to host its Deck The Volleyballs tournament on Saturday, Dec. 21, on Pompano Beach. All proceeds will go towards purchasing holiday gifts for the children and residents of Ann Storck Center. Participants may also bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate.
The community event will feature a fun-filled day of volleyball, a raffle, prizes, lunch and more for a good cause. Co-ed 4’s volleyball teams are invited to participate in the beach volleyball tournament in competitive or recreational divisions. Teams must consist of a minimum of four players and can be a maximum of five players. Players under 18 years old must sign a waiver.
Sponsorship opportunities are available and range from $100-$5,000. Individual tournament entry is a gift card (recommended $50) or $50 entry fee per person. Registration includes lunch and a t-shirt.
Proceeds benefit Ann Storck Center, which accommodates 96 residents and serves more than 300 individuals daily through an array of critical care, learning and ability focused programs.
