South Florida's top convention for the comic, anime, gaming, and pop worlds is coming to Fort Lauderdale this July with Florida Supercon. From July 12 through 15, the Greater Fort Lauderdale Broward County Convention Center will be filled with fans from various corners of pop culture.

There will be scores of celebrities in attendance as well from television, movies, and more. Florida Supercon will also welcome top voice actors from the comic world, comic book creators, cosplayers, and pro wrestlers.

Some of the bigger names already confirmed to attend are Star Trek icon William Shatner, American Pie actress Tara Reid, and WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels. Fans will have the opportunity to interact with some of their favorites through celebrity Q&A's, autograph signings, and photo opportunities.

Some of the other top events during over 400 hours of programming include group photo shoots, gaming activities, and cosplay costume contests. The complete schedule of events to expect at Florida Supercon will be finalized on June 30.

Multi-day passes and single day tickets are currently on sale. Since Supercon has reached max capacity the last two years at the convention center, there will be no ticket sales at the door.

Florida Supercon is offering a new way to get in case single day admission passes sell out. With Supercon After Dark, you can get access to the event on Friday or Saturday at 4 p.m. when the crowds begin to dissipate.

As always, Supercon also provides VIP admission that has an array of benefits. VIP passholders get perks like entry to special parties on Thursday and Friday night, fast lane privileges for autographs and photos, and special gifts.

For those traveling from out of town, Florida Supercon has a variety of host hotels in Fort Lauderdale that include free shuttles to the convention center.
